2,Promote high standards of town planning and architecture
3, Secure preservation, conservation, development and improvement of features of general public amenity, historic or public interest
4, The advancement of education
5, Pay such sums to such other charitable institution or institutions having objects similar to the objects of the Charity as the Trustees.

Our subscription is £5 per year payable in February.
This sum is purposely kept low to encourage as many as possible to join the Trust.
A large membership is more influential when applying for grants or applying pressure for change,
The Cowbridge Charter Trust was formed in 2003 with support from over 200 patrons. The original aim of the Trust was to celebrate 750 years since the granting of the first Borough Charter on the 13th March 1254 by Richard de Clare the Lord of Glamorgan.
